Until 27 June, the photography exhibition “The known and unknown Nordic countries” is on view at the creative services centre “Zeimuļs” in Rēzekne (Krasta iela 31). Entrance: free of charge.

The photographs featured in the exhibition were taken back in 2016, during a series of exploratory trips by the team of the popular science programme “Zināmais nezināmajā” (The Known in the Unknown) on Latvian Radio 1. Journalist Sandra Kropa and producer Paula Gulbinska travelled through the Nordic countries to uncover the unknown and rediscover the known, while photographer Gints Ivuškāns captured the encounters, landscapes and impressions in images.

The study trips and this exhibition are supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia. Audio recording (in Latvian) of the episode of “Zināmais nezināmajā” on the Nordic countries is available in the Latvian Radio archive online.
